Successful bat mitigation for The Landmark Trust

We've been fortunate enough to work with conservation charity The Landmark Trust at a number of their stunning historic properties around the country.

At the Saddell Estate, near Campbelltown we carried out bat surveys of Saddell House, Saddell Castle and three smaller buildings. Several bat roosts were found, including Soprano pipistrelles, Common pipistrelles and Brown long-eared bats. In each case we created alternative bat roosts and managed the licensing process for the trust, as well as erecting a scheme of bat boxes in nearby trees. The Trust's guests can now continue to enjoy staying in these gorgeous properties and the bat popluations on the estate can continue to flourish.
